This is an undergraduate Introduction to Electricity and Magnetism class taught by me at Stevens Institute of Technology.

This week, we re-summarize again and formulate a new mentality about how to think about Physics equations which is to think about them as tools.

We introduce two new equations, Capacitance for a parallel plate and the amount of energy stored on a capacitor. We "derive" these equations by connecting them to what we knew from past weeks.

We then analyze 3 various problems involving circuits with capacitors.

1) Analyzing a Circuit with Capacitors.

2) Analyzing a Capacitor with a dielectric.

3) Finding the potential, V, with different initial conditions, one capacitor is partially filled while another one is empty.

This week we learn about drift velocity of an electron in a wire, resistance of a wire that's dependent on resistivity, temperature and geometry, and capacitors in a circuit interacting with each other.

1) Calculating Drift Velocity with some givens.

2) Identifying a mystery wire based on its resistivity value.

3) Resistance of a wire dependent on Temperature.

4) Electric Field in a wire, Power delivered to a wire dependent on Temperature.

5) Investigating the interaction of two capacitors in a circuit with one initially charged.

This week, we summarize over the past 4 weeks of all the electric equations that we've used so far. We then discuss about Voltage in the various cases or situations.

1) Voltage at point A and B due to a uniform Electric Field.

2) Voltage at point A and B due to two point charges, +Q and +2Q.

3) Voltage at point A and B due to a linear but varying charge density, i.e. gradient of charge

4) Finding the radius, R, and charge, Q, knowing two voltage measurements.
